Local avocado business inspires others to export

The State Government’s Trade and Investment Minister is hoping an emerging success story for a local business will inspire others to consider their export options.

CURTIS PITT says Sunshine Coast based Sunfresh is one of 22 companies that went to HOFEX in HONG KONG, as part of a state trade mission, and just six weeks later it’s reaping the rewards…with orders totalling more than $200,000.

A Queensland seafood business, a fishing business and even a honey business have also received orders from contacts made at the trade show.

The works should be completed by the end of the month.
