2025 Sunshine Coast Music Awards
The inaugural Sunshine Coast Music Awards (SCMAs) are set to take place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at The Station in Birtinya.
Organised by the Sunshine Coast Music Industry Collective (SCMIC), a not-for-profit body established in 2022, the awards aim to celebrate and acknowledge the diverse talents within the Sunshine Coast’s vibrant music scene.
About SCMAs:
The SCMAs are designed to recognise and honour the contributions of musicians, creatives, and industry professionals who have significantly impacted the local music landscape. This event serves as a platform to highlight the region’s artistic excellence and foster a sense of community among industry stakeholders.

The awards encompass eleven categories, including:
- Artist of the Year
- Musician of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Young Artist of the Year
- Live Act of the Year
- Song of the Year
- First Nations Award
- Punter of the Year
- Venue of the Year
- Artwork of the Year
- Recording Studio of the Year
