Generation Innovation is a Sunshine Coast-based registered charity on a mission to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. Governed by an experienced volunteer board, the organisation runs the annual GI Challenge—an innovative program that helps 15–21-year-olds turn bright ideas into real businesses through mentoring, skills development, and community connections.

100% funded by its partners, Generation Innovation thrives thanks to the generous support of local businesses and individuals who offer not only financial backing but also hands-on involvement as mentors, judges, and event hosts.

Over the past decade, GI has supported more than 160 young changemakers, sparking ventures like Royal Robotics, Zip Zap Chargers, and Keola Surf Wax. At SEA FM, we do more than broadcast. We connect. We celebrate. And we champion the local stories that matter. That’s why partnering with Generation Innovation feels like a natural fit — it’s a chance to amplify young voices, highlight innovative ideas, and showcase the bright future being built right here in our backyard.
