The Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network (SCBWN) is a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering and celebrating women in business across the Sunshine Coast region. Established in 1998 from its origins as “Women in the Workforce,” SCBWN has grown into a vibrant community of nearly 300 members spanning diverse industries.

SCBWN’s mission is to empower and celebrate women to achieve in business. The network focuses on creating opportunities and delivering platforms that support members’ growth, helping them identify their strengths, connect with opportunities to address skill needs, and foster their individual and business journeys.

2026 Business Woman of the Year Awards – 21st August 2026
The Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network Awards are held annually to recognize the women behind businesses on the Sunshine Coast.

These awards are noted for their professionalism and are among the most respected award events in the region. Categories include Outstanding Business Woman of the Year, Corporate Business Woman of the Year, Professional Business Woman of the Year, Young Business Woman of the Year, Micro/Small Business Woman of the Year, and Sustainable Business Woman of the Year.
