Surf For Kids is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting children and their families in the Sunshine Coast region who are facing financial hardship due to disabilities and mental health challenges. Their mission is to raise funds that provide critical financial assistance to children and their families when government funding or assistance is unavailable or has been exhausted, and the families are unable to meet the necessary financial demands themselves.
The fundraising efforts are driven by the generous contributions of donors, volunteers, and community partners who share their belief in making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. Surf for Kids organise a variety of fundraising events, including surf competitions, speaking events and charity auctions, as well as accepting direct donations.
